Zac Efron’s “Hotness” in New Ted Bundy Movie Overtakes Social Conversation
Ted Bundy is everywhere—in Netflix’s documentary series about the serial killer and in the new film Extremely Wicked, Shocking Evil and Vile starring Zac Efron that premiered at Sundance Film Festival. The social media conversation about the film revolved around Efron’s hotness and whether or not his portrayal of Bundy was romanticized. Others found the film fascinating and the main character creepy.
Looking at the top emotions, disgust dominated with 84 percent share of voice, followed by sadness and anger. Audiences called Bundy “disgusting” for his crimes and felt saddened for his victims.
