Meet Justin Khaksar, Crimson Hexagon's New SVP of EMEA & APAC

Introducing Justin Khaksar, Crimson Hexagon’s new managing director (SVP) for EMEA & APAC! Justin joined Crimson in July from Localytics, a mobile engagement provider, where he spent almost two years as their General Manager & VP of EMEA. Prior to Localytics, Justin’s resume boasts stints at numerous well-known and successful companies, including:  Brightcove, Simply Media, Caspian Publishing and IDG Global Solutions. With 19 years of experience in enterprise and marketing technology, he has worked in start-up and public company environments in both the UK and the US. Interestingly, Crimson will be Justin’s fourth Boston-based business!

Justin’s move to Crimson Hexagon was motivated by many factors, but most notably the amazing market opportunity he saw for the product and social analytics. He recognised that Crimson Hexagon is at a fantastic and pivotal point in its evolution, with a successful European operation already in place. With the right guidance he believed it could be even more successful, and wanted to help take the company to that next level. That, combined with Crimson’s blended go to market strategy of resellers, partners, and direct sales organisation, made it an exciting proposition.
Justin sees the power and opportunity social intelligence offers the market in Europe. The enterprise space for social data is growing at an unprecedented rate, and Crimson Hexagon is poised to capitalise. He sees the company’s focus on the already expanding market, its position as best-in-breed as opposed to total solution, and its passion for democratising unstructured data as just some of the many tools in Crimson Hexagon’s arsenal for success over its competitors.
When asked what he felt was most important for helping Crimson Hexagon reach its full business potential, Justin indicated that customer focus was paramount. In order to be successful, Crimson Hexagon must continue to focus on their customers and their needs. Whether that’s simply content creation, engaging with customers to help them realise their business needs, or helping them maximise their business insights to reach their business goals, our Crimson business professionals must be there every step of the way, making sure we’re not only delivering happy customers, but delivering on our promise to help them make better, faster business decisions.
Justin has already contributed to some important milestones for Crimson Hexagon. The biggest of these being the announcement and launch of Crimson’s newest platform addition, HelioSight. HelioSight is a simple, fast, and flexible search tool designed to quickly uncover meaningful insights from social media data and provide answers to business questions. Justin sees its ability to increase efficiency and empower organisations to quickly make smarter, stronger and more impactful decisions based on strategic social insights as another great step in providing an easy-to-use, customer-centric product. He also assisted in signing on several new global partners, the most recent being The Fool in Italy.
In the future Justin expects to continue to grow Crimson Hexagon’s organisation and success in Europe and Asia through customer engagement, customer events, trade shows, expansion of the partner program and many other avenues. Some upcoming events already on the docket include the London customer event in November, which Justin will be hosting as part of Crimson’s Customer Roadshow Series. He will also be attending DMEXCO this week in Germany, a Digital Marketing Conference made up of 50,000 visionaries of the digital marketing and media world promoting creativity, trends, and achievements within the industry. Through this event Justin hopes to expand on his goal to increase Crimson’s visibility in Germany as well as other European countries.
