#CrimsonBlast Takes Off Into The Social Data Stratosphere

The Crimson Team Works To Plan A Prolific Year

With the entire team flown in to prepare, CrimsonBlast kicked off last week at Boston’s District Hall, located on the Seaport in Boston, with initial presentations by members of the Crimson executive team. Crimson Hexagon’s CEO, Stephanie Newby, discussed the past of Crimson, where we’ve come from and where we intend build our big data SaaS platform, ForSight, into the future.

We had a series of outstanding speakers, from a deep-dive analysis of the social listening marketplace, with Susan Etlinger, a top analyst of Altimeter specializing in the business applications of big data, to some of our favorite brand advocates, telling their stories of success through the empowering data that Crimson Hexagon can provide. It was also a pleasure to share highlights of product integration from our partners at Hootsuite, Spredfast, and Tickr. Crimsonblast’s first day ended on a high note, after a day filled with social data knowledge.

The second day of blast off, teams worked together to plan and discuss marketing and sales initiatives for the upcoming year: where more support was needed throughout the company, and what could be improved upon. Afterwards, the group headed to the slopes! Crimson members descended on Nashoba Valley Ski Resort to enjoy the tubing terrain. The photos below will display how camaraderie and fun was a highlight of this trip!  

Lastly, Crimson team members were assigned a scenario for competition: to prove the value and differentiating power of ForSight in a pitch. Every Sales and Marketing member recounted the worth of the social data analyzing tool, and delivered outstanding presentations. It was useful to see each other highlight the value of the tool and different styles of delivery. Lastly, the executive team assembled once more, to answer all the “tough” questions we wanted to hear.

No stone left unturned, Crimsonblast ended in high spirits with an excited and determined team, ready to face the goals and strategies for this years’ sales quotas and growth strategies!
