Crimson Reveals Canadian’s Online Opinions of the Royal’­s Recent Trip Through the Provinces

Crimson Hexagon was honored to meet with Prince William and Princess Catherine on Friday, July 8, as part of their official visit to Los Angeles. The royal couples’ first stop while in LA was Variety’s daylong Venture Capital & New Media Summit. Crimson Hexagon was one of a small handful of vendors selected to participate in the Summit and provide a technology demonstration to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

At the Variety Summit, the duo soaked up news about tech changes and strategies and, crucially, used the occasion to spotlight the U.K.’s rapidly growing “Tech City” innovation hub.

They then went to the floor of the ballroom to speak with reps from a handful of interactive-digital technology vendors, Crimson Hexagon among them.

Each vendor was given a few minutes with the couple to demonstrate its digital tools. For example, Crimson Hexagon showed them the results of its online study of why Canadians most enjoyed their recent visit.

The royal couple was quite impressed by the analysis and asked several thoughtful questions about the results, including inquiring about how comprehensive the analysis was and how quickly results were generated.
