Our Vision
At Crimson Hexagon, we don’t use the word “vision” lightly. After all, the core of our system was created at the Harvard University Institute for Quantitative Social Science, a place where they’re pretty serious about things like innovation. And math. And technology. Here’s why you’ll take it seriously too.

Our Quantitative Analysis Methods
Visionary Technology to Quantify Qualitative Consumer Opinions Hidden in Big Data
Crimson Hexagon wasn’t created in a think tank. It wasn’t sketched on the back of a cocktail napkin or brainstormed over a foosball table. Our quantitative analysis methods were developed at the Harvard University Institute for Quantitative Social Science by its visionary director, Albert J. Weatherhead III University Professor Gary King, and his team of social scientists and statisticians.
In other words, people for whom numbers and mathematical proof are reason and fact…the concrete foundation for making intelligent, informed decisions. Crimson’s Chief Scientist, Professor King and our science team continue to envision, invent, innovate, and make continual progress in improving our algorithms and adding new products and services.
So, besides being invented by the ultimate geek squad, what makes the Crimson Hexagon ForSight™ Platform stand apart from the competition?
Most of the other tools in this category are what’s known as “machine classifiers.” And while machine classifiers are relatively easy to build, they can be far from accurate.
It might be fine to get close to what you’re looking for in a Google search for Italian food in Sacramento. But if you’re a Fortune 1000 company staking multi-million dollar business bets, you need to see the difference between precisely what you’re looking for and what might be interesting but beside the point.
At Crimson Hexagon, we use statistical theory to analyze unstructured text. Our Quantitative methods refine our analysis by bringing human judgment into every equation, incorporating a “teachable” algorithm that finds real meaning behind Big Data.
The Crimson Hexagon Accuracy Rate?
Our analysis creates an unbiased and highly reliable result. In fact, we perform with just a +/- 3% margin of error, a result we validate and bring into every analysis we do.
So instead of just learning what people are saying, our customers learn what their customers are thinking. Which means they can solve problems and leverage opportunities faster and better than their competition.
