We supply gender, age, ethnicity. These numbers are calculated using a probabilistic approach incorporating various government census data.
Combination of geo-tagged coordinates from mobile devices, and other attributes such as users’ profile/bio information, time zones, languages and content of their tweets can be used to determine the countries, regions and cities from where they have tweeted.
Yes, you can export the metrics and data from each analysis into Excel or image format. Additionally, Workspaces allow you to pull in multiple visuals from a variety of analyses into one comprehensive report, or Excel workbook. Finally, if interested data can be extracted through our API.
Yes, we have a REST API that allows for programmatic data extraction as well as programmatic uploads of additional sources of unstructured data.

A Buzz Monitor helps users get a general sense of the conversation while allowing you to track and gauge the volume of a conversation over time. This allows you to quickly get a snapshot of the entire conversation in a very short amount of time.
All that is needed to set up a Buzz analysis is to provide your keywords, select the content sources you would like to see results from and choose the date range for your analysis. You have some other filtering options that you can employ to narrow or expand your search results. Once you have set up the criteria to your specifications, you can run the analysis and get results in minutes!
An opinion analysis is often run off of a previously created Buzz analysis. But you also have the option to begin with an Opinion analysis. The initial set up process is very similar to that of our Buzz analyses. The differentiating factor is the human training that you complete in order to “teach” our BrightView algorithm to categorize results in a specific way.
You do this by creating a list of categories and training the algorithm to recognize the types of posts that should be associated with each. Once you have enough posts in each of your categories, you can run the analysis
Social Account monitors allow you to get detailed analytics on specific Twitter accounts, Facebook pages and Instagram accounts. You simply tell us which of these Accounts you would like to collect data on and the timeframe. This allows you to monitor owned content as well as competitors’. The results are available immediately.
Yes, we do have native engagement options within Crimson Hexagon. However, in order to offer a more robust set of engagement tools, we have partnered with two industry-leading engagement platforms, HootSuite and SpredFast.
Yes, within Crimson Hexagon, you can set threshold alerts based on the analyses you have created. These alerts can be sent to you, as well as other members of your team.
We have scheduled system updates every month. During these updates we address bugs, release new features and improve existing functionality.
