Scott Centurino

Scott Centurino is a senior business and technology leader with a track record of developing teams that “get things done”. Scott comes to Crimson Hexagon with a wealth of operating experience, and a deep understanding of both professional services and product development in the software industry. He has a proven ability to quickly understand complex business, technical, and organizational issues, and drive their resolution.

Most recently Scott was the Chief Operating Officer at mobile messaging solutions, Inc. (mms US), where he provided the overall direction for all day-to-day operating activities to optimize customer service and growth. Prior to joining mms, Scott was Vice President of Product at matchmine, a Web 2.0 media discovery and ad-targeting network. Previously, Scott was Vice President of Solutions Infrastructure at Burntsand Inc., a technology-based professional services firm operating from nine locations across the United States and Canada. While at Burntsand, he grew his practice from break-even to 25% margin on 50% revenue growth in two quarters. Earlier in his career, Scott held various technical and engineering roles building and web-enabling enterprise-scale business systems.

Scott holds a S.B. in Computer Science and Engineering, and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science (Systems and Architecture Concentration), both from MIT.

Gary King

Gary King is the Albert J. Weatherhead III University Professor at Harvard University – one of only 22 with the title of University Professor, Harvard’s most distinguished faculty position. He also serves as Director of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, Fellow of the American Statistical Association, Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and has won more than 30 “best of” awards for his articles, books, conference papers, and software, among others.

Gary develops and applies empirical methods in many areas of social science research, focusing on innovations that span the range from statistical theory to practical application. His more than 125 journal articles, 15 open source software packages, and 8 books span most aspects of political methodology, many fields of political science, and several other scholarly disciplines. The statistical methods and software he developed are used extensively in academia, government, consulting, and private industry.

Gary received a B.A. from SUNY New Paltz (1980) and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1984). His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, the National Institute of Aging, the Global Forum for Health Research, and centers, corporations, foundations, and other federal agencies.

Chris Bingham

Chris leads Crimson Hexagon’s engineering team, and manages the VoxTrot product roadmap and underlying software architecture.

Chris brings a wealth of software management, architecture, and development experience to Crimson Hexagon. In his most recent position as vice president of software engineering at Coalesix, Chris led the development of a revolutionary pharmaceutical design product. As director of software engineering at Icosystem Corporation, Chris focused on systems for visualizing and analyzing unstructured text. Previously, Chris held senior technical positions at leading companies including Apple, Disney, and Netscape. He has contributed to, and is named on, several U.S. patents.

Chris holds a B.A. in computer science from Dartmouth College.

Melyssa Plunkett-Gomez

At Crimson Hexagon, Melyssa is responsible for identifying, executing, and managing strategic partnerships with clients. Melyssa also helps develop the overall sales strategies for the go-to-market as well as defined sales channels. Both these tasks drive revenue through the direct and partner channels.

Melyssa bring broad experience in the enterprise, marketing, and CRM software and services sectors to Crimson Hexagon. She has a demonstrated ability to drive revenue and successfully scale an organization’s sales practice.

Melyssa has led global strategic alliances for companies including newScale, Unica, and KANA. Her leadership resulted in significant growth in sales revenues. At KPMG, Melyssa contributed to the design and implementation of eBusiness strategies at leading high tech companies.

Melyssa holds a B.S. in industrial engineering and operations research from Cornell University and an M.S. from Georgia Tech in industrial systems.
